David Kennedy Evans, Chairman of the Association of Friends of Queen Elizabeth Court said: "This was an excellent result and the highest total of money raised by the Province of North Wales since 2001. He expressed his grateful thanks to all concerned for their sterling efforts which realized this marvellous achievement".

He added, "Whilst many would think that the main purpose of the day was the fund raising achieved at the Event, it should not be forgotten that the Fete was the most important day of the year in the Social Calendar of the residents. Many of them continually say that they look forward, so much, to enjoying the company and varied conversation of all the visitors as this makes them feel 'that they still matter' and are not forgotten".
