U.G.L.E. Protocols & Code of Practice
If your Lodge decides to create a website, it has to meet certain criteria. In the first instance, the Lodge members must have given their formal approval to a website being created. When this has been approved by the Lodge, application must then be made to the Provincial Grand Office for permission to proceed.
When you set up the site, the over-riding guideline is to be open and be seen to be open. Before proceeding, it must be submitted to the Provincial Office and U.G.L.E. for checking before launching the site in the public domain. Above all, it must comply with the Guidelines of U.G.L.E.
