Despite my aversion for Hospitals I have to admit that I derived great pleasure from visiting the Accident & Emergency Unit at Ysbyty Gwynedd Bangor. The pleasure did not come from being in an Hospital but in seeing how much we were doing to assist the staff and even more importantly the little children who were admitted into that unit.

The staff was delighted and praised our work. Indeed, before the launch, the person responsible for the Unit had, on the previous Saturday, given a Teddy to a young boy who had burned both his hands on a hotplate. He was extremely distressed. The Teddy brought a smile to his face and treating him became easier.

As the Bible so clearly states "just as you did it to one of these, who are members of my family, you did it to me".

Long may we continue to do so with pride.

Er cymaint fy nghas at Ysbytai pleser fu fy ymweld ag Uned Damweiniau Ysbyty Gwynedd yr wythnos diwethaf. Y pleser oedd dod i sylweddoli yn llawn gwerth ein hymdrech fel Brodyr i ddod a chysur i blant bach gyda´r Tedi.

Mae´r staff i gyd wrth ei bodd ac yn canmol ein gwaith. Ar y Sadwrn cyn cychwyn yr ymgyrch death bachgen bach i mewn i´r Uned. `Roedd wedi llosgi ei ddwy law ar "hotplate". `Roedd mewn cryn ofid. Er nad oedd yr ymgyrch mewn grym cymerodd y pennaeth arni ei hun i roi Tedi iddo. Daeth a gwen i´w wyneb a bu trin a´i friwiau yn llawer haws.

Mae´r Hen Air yn iawn "yn gymaint ag i chwi ei wneud i´r lleiaf o´r rhain fy mrodyr, i mi y gwnaethoch"

Hir y parhaom i wneud hyn.
